Cleanup Windows Update Corrupted Database Error 80073712

Here is what you do when you get the famous “(80073712)” error while trying to apply Windows Updates. Open a command prompt with Run As Administrator and run those commands one by one. You can also paste them all into a batch file, and run it with Administrator privileges;

 

Remove Hidden Network Adapters

1- Click Start, click Run, type cmd.exe, and then press ENTER. 2- Enter this command and then press ENTER:

3- Open Device Manager;

Click View, and then click Show Hidden Devices. Expand the Network Adapters tree. Right-click the dimmed network adapter, and then click Uninstall.
